The Operations Manager is a key member of the management team that oversees all aspects of the company. This position is considered the backbone of the newbuild operation which represents about 60% of the annual revenue and oversees about 35 craftspeople.

Essential Duties

  • Head of technical purchasing and inventory
  • Head of safety for the entire operation
  • Key member of the HR committee
  • IT knowledge
  • 5-10 years of management experience

Requirements and Preferred Qualities

  • Excellent communicator able to manage many different projects/crew at once
  • Calm/Levelheaded management style – voice of reason, dispute resolution focus
  • Problem solver mentality with safety and financial focus
  • Planning expertise – critical, high cost, long range – ability to see steps ahead
  • Efficiency/productivity expert
  • Quickbooks proficiency
