Shipyard Positions:

  • Shipyard Manager is responsible for the development and management of programming and exhibition functions of the Shipyard.
  • Shipwright Educator An experienced wooden boat builder with at least three years of teaching, program design, and/or curriculum development experience for the Rising Tide Program
  • Shipwrights Proficiency in use and maintenance of wood shop machinery; Minimum 5 years’ experience in traditional wooden boat construction and/or restoration
  • Shipwright Apprentices CBMM’s program provides formal four-year apprentice certifications, developed in line with U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration standards, and registered with the Maryland Apprenticeship and Training Program
