Steve Gleason founded Composite Technologies International (CTI) in 2015, which was spinoff from Performance Minerals Corp. (PMC), which he started in 1993. Beginning with the patented AmeriCore composite core as its initial basis, the focus quickly broadened. With George Wright joining in 2016, after 26 years with Composites One, and Richie Bowker joining in 2018, after 38 years with Sea Ray, the focus was now on developing solutions to many of the issues plaguing the marine industry. With the vast Sea Ray PD&E experience of Richie, and the overall wealth of both process and equipment knowledge of George, unique and innovative technologies began to surface with the introduction of the Fiber Shield product line. From the elastomeric FSV-20 VE Barrier Coat, to the FSNR No-Roll Laminate System, to the FSSM Squish Molding Compound and all products in between, CTI has differentiated itself from all other product offerings available. All products are low emissions and American Made.
